Place the bet
Choose one outcome, enter a stake, and review the potential return. Your available credits and the market lock are checked again when you confirm.

Watch for confirmation
A successful bet returns you to the green. The ball rolls to the selected pin, your gold marker lands, and a confirmation appears in Clubhouse Alerts.
Step 4
Follow the result
My bets keeps your open tickets, locked odds, potential returns, wallet activity, and exact settlement receipts after an organizer posts the result.

These are the workflows most players will use during the tournament.

Place a single bet
Every ticket starts from an open market.
- Choose Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
- Open a flag or market card.
- Pick one outcome and set the stake.
- Review the potential return, then select Place bet.

Take a bet back
Open tickets can be cancelled only before their market locks.
- Open your gold marker or go to My bets.
- Select the open ticket.
- Choose Take back bet.
- Confirm that the exact stake returned to your balance.

Submit a Fantasy lineup
Fantasy entries stay editable through September 10 at 11:59 PM ET.
- Open Fantasy > My lineup.
- Choose one different golfer from Tier A, B, and C, then one unique open pick.
- Predict the total birdies across Best Ball, Scramble, and Singles.
- Save a draft or submit the official entry; you may update or withdraw it before lock.

Propose a Community poll
Polls are no-credit questions reviewed by an organizer before the field votes.
- Open Community and choose Propose a poll.
- Write one clear question and add every valid choice.
- Choose the Tournament or day scope and send it for review.
- Watch Clubhouse Alerts for publication or rejection.

Turn on iPhone push alerts
iPhone push works from the installed Home Screen app on iOS 16.4 or newer.
- Open pinbets.ca in Safari and choose Share.
- Select Add to Home Screen and launch that new icon.
- Sign in, open the bell, and choose Enable.
- Allow notifications when iOS asks.
Troubleshooting
When something does not look right.
Open the issue that matches what you see. These checks solve the common account, market, animation, and notification problems without changing tournament data.
I cannot sign in+
Use your assigned lowercase username with no spaces. Check the password carefully and try again. If the credentials still fail, contact Milos or David; do not create a second account.
The Place bet button does not work+
Confirm that you selected an outcome, entered a stake within your available balance, and the market still shows Open. A red Locked status means the closing time has passed and the bet cannot be accepted.
My balance or marker looks out of date+
Wait for the confirmation alert before submitting again. Check your connection, then refresh Pin Bets. My bets and the wallet ledger are the authoritative record of an accepted transaction.
The putting or marker animation did not play+
The bet can still be valid even if a device interrupts the animation. Check My bets for the ticket. System Reduce Motion settings intentionally shorten or disable decorative motion.
I cannot take a bet back+
Only your own open ticket can be cancelled before its market locks. Settled, refunded, or locked tickets cannot be reversed from the player view.
Push alerts are unavailable on my iPhone+
Use Safari, add Pin Bets to the Home Screen, and open the installed icon before enabling alerts from the bell. Also confirm that notifications are allowed for Pin Bets in iPhone Settings.
My profile photo will not upload+
Use a JPG, PNG, or WebP source smaller than 25 MB. Pin Bets corrects orientation, resizes, and compresses it below 2 MB before the private upload. A failed upload does not remove your existing avatar or profile photo.
